Line Test Lab
Hello, I’m Tom Moorehouse and I’m the guy behind Line Test Lab. I’ve always wanted to know if spending more money on fishing line actually got you better fishing line. For the last 10 years my job has been a Test Engineering Technician. I have acquired the skills necessary to build the ultimate FISHING LINE TEST MACHINE! It is known affectionately as Machine #75.
Currently the machine is capable of:
Stress and Strain Curves
Knot Strength Testing
Abrasion Testing
I also have Thickness measuring and microscope photo capability.
So yea, in effort to save a few bucks on fishing line I spent thousands of dollars building a machine to find out if it is worth it. Now I am sharing the results with you!
