The Berkley braid knot test results?

It was asked on BBC Boards if I could test the Berkley braid knot to see if it was better than the palomar. It sounded like an easy thing to test. And then, I tried to tie the knot. This is one of those knots that twists upon itself as you pull it tight. You have to keep everything neat and tidy as it is tightened down. This proved very difficult for me. I had issues making this knot. It took a couple of hours to tie 30 of these knots for testing. 10 of them looked so bad that I didn’t even try to break them. 20 of them I did test and here is what I got. This is using the 65lb Big Game Braid.

The answer for me was no, The Berkley braid knot was not stronger than the palomar knot. You may be able to tie the knot better than me and get better results. This knot takes significantly more time to tie and gave me a lower average breaking force.
